Prerequisites

Before you begin, ensure you have:

Personal Wallet created

Your Shakesco personal wallet must be set up first

Business Wallet created

You’ll need a Business Wallet to create a Business Card
Recommended: Use the Polygon Network for your Business Card - significantly lower fees for you and your team.

Step 1: Access Business Wallet

Open wallet selector

From your Personal Wallet, long press the profile icon

Choose your option

You’ll see a pop-up with available wallets: - “Business Wallet” - If you already have one - “Open Business Wallet” - If you need to create one

Create Business Wallet (if needed)

If you don’t have a Business Wallet yet, create one before proceeding

Step 2: Create Business Card

Navigate to Business Card

In your Business Wallet, swipe through cards on the Wallet tab until you find “Business Card”

Select network

Choose your preferred network:

Polygon

Recommended - Lower transaction fees

Ethereum

Higher security, higher fees

Configure pension settings (optional)

Set up automatic pension deductions for your team

Complete verification

Perform 2FA and enter your PIN to finalize
Network selection

Understanding Pension Feature

The Pension feature automatically deducts a percentage from employee periodic payments (executives are excluded).How it works:
  • Set a percentage (e.g., 5% of each payment)
  • Funds remain in your Business Card Wallet
  • Send to employees when:
    • They retire
    • They leave the company
    • Custom trigger you define
Benefits:
  • ✅ Automatic deductions - no manual tracking
  • ✅ Company holds funds securely
  • ✅ Transparent for employees
  • ✅ Flexible withdrawal timing
This setting is optional - skip it if you don’t need automatic pension deductions.
